Our story
From a single theodolite to a 12,000-survey legacy
TrueLines began in 1998 when founder Daniel Okafor left a regional engineering firm to do one thing differently: treat every property owner like a client, not a ticket number. The first year, he completed 47 surveys. Today the firm has completed more than 12,000 — from single-lot fence lines to 340-acre retracements and 42-lot subdivisions.
We still operate on the original rule: no survey leaves the office until a licensed surveyor has personally verified the math, the monuments, and the map. It is slower than the shortcut. It is also why lenders, title companies, and developers call us first.
Every crew is led by a licensed Professional Land Surveyor. Every piece of equipment is calibrated and traceable to national standards. And every client gets the same thing at the end: a certified result and a straight answer.
